The school follow a five day week schedule. It is our desire to keep the average strength of a class t around 30 students. Students are randomly divided into sections. Our Teachers follow enquiry based method of education and are working towards bringing in an international perspective in the teaching methodology.
Indirapuram Public School are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) the largest educational board in the country. English is the medium of instruction.

Teaching is tailored to suit the needs of students by involving them in the learning process and maintaining their interest. Formal education system is introduced using NCERT syllabus guideline. Home assignments given are not a carry-over of class work but are oriented towards bringing perfection in individual talents. Special stress is given on projects and group activities. These fun filled activities provide for hands-on experience of various concepts.
Class room teaching is accompanied by audio visual computer aided capsules, group activity, regular worksheets, question banks and requisite resource material. The focus is on enabling a child to develop self-learning skills during class room teaching, rather than depending on private tutions. A continuous comprehensive evaluation system is used which gives due weightage to class assignments,terms exams , project work and class room participation. Results are computer generated , giving detailed analysis of students' performance.
Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year performance of the pupil. Hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work.
General proficiency, General Improvement and consistency certificates are awarded to students for excellence in academics and all round excellence respectively.
Certificate / prizes in co-curricular activities are awarded for outstanding performance in the co-curricular activities held in the school.
The students of the school are divided into four houses named as RED, GREEN, YELLOW and BLUE. The houses are managed by house masters/mistress. They select house captains, sports captain and prefects. Every student is being allotted a particular house.
The house system aims to give students and identity and sense of pride in a supportive secure environment. The houses provide for positive competition and a closer rapport between students and teachers.
No Student will be allowed to sit for the annual exams unless all fee has been paid upto date. As per the C.B.S.E. directives, all students need to log in at least 75% attendance in a given academic years to be considered eligible for the Annual Examinations.
Withdrawal : One month's notice or payment of one month's fee is required prior to the withdrawal of a pupil. No Transfer Certificate will be issued until all dues to the school have been paid.
No reduction is made in tuition fee and conveyance charges for absence or vacation.
All students must attend the school regularly and punctually. Continuous absence for a month or more without permission will make a student liable to be dropped off rolls.
Every endeavour will be made to ensure the safety and welfare of the children. However, the school will not be responsible for any claim arising out of physical injury due to accidents or any other ground.
School uniform is necessary. Parents are requested to ensure that their children are neat and tidy when they come to the school.
Bringing costly articles (Cameras, I-pods, Expensive watches etc.) are not permitted.
Parents must read the content of the diary to get acquainted with the school system and its functioning.
Parents can interact with the teachers through the diary. They must ensure that their ward brings the diary to the school everyday.
Parents are required to ensure that their child come to school in proper uniform. It is compulsory for the students to wear the I-card everyday.
Parents are requested to monitor regularly the performance of the child in class tests, periodic tests as well as the submission of project and assignments given to them.
Parents-Teacher meeting plays a vital role in monitoring the progress of your child. Please attend the scheduled parents-teacher meetings.
It may not be possible to arrange special meetings of the parents with the teachers during the school hours.
